Instead of using the XSL command to color the table. Try using the Table->Autoformat command. that will apply the formatting a new for every table. You could mess with a calculation to increment or decrease the position() value. Tim

If the syntax is not accepted, can you try this: <?xdoxslt:get_day((xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'minYear')), $_XDOLOCALE)?> I don't think you need to enclose the first argument in quotes as you have done in this line: <?xdoxslt:get_day(‘xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'minYear')’, $_XDOLOCALE)?> Thanks!

Hi, Not sure on your full requirements, but you can set the printer name on the concurrent program, force the print to 1 copy, and I would guess you don't need the file name. Regards, Gareth

When we keep @section to the for loop, in the headers/footers/above that for loop, we can directly access only items in that group. In this case, is SCHEDULE_DATE, part of G_IC or STORE_ID group? if not access SCHEDULE_DATE using the XPATH.. // or ..// based on the relative path..

Yes, your solution to manipulte the file on the operating system would work and is a good one. I actually got this thing to work (plus one tag under the invoice group (PO_NUMBER) that they will be able to ignore on their end). Here's the template (minus a huge amount of tags for simplicity sake) (I've also included the data below limited to 2 invoices for ease of reading) <?xml version = '1.0' encoding =...

Hi They are rendering in the other formats because they access the fonts on the client machine. The PDF embeds the fonts so you need to make the fonts available to the BIP engine on the server. check the docs on how to get them up there and accessible. REgards tim

Yes, passing parameters is possible in BIP. you can do it various ways... Not sure of what you are doing to render the report. option1: BIP webservice option2: direct web URL, by passing the parameters in the URL.

Hello Hung, not quite sure what you mean. BI Publisher as its name says normally is used to publish data in reports or documents. But I remember that there was an example of the BI Publisher Java API using a PDF form to get input data from users. Not sure if this functionality is already available. Kind regards Juergen

AG, If you have followed Tim/Darshan's solution - I am guessing you are using a filler rows. If yes, check if the exact height of your actual row is equal to the exact height of your filler. Moreover, check the spaces before and after your tables -- spaces can cause page issue. regards, Rownald

Hi Ugo Use a data template for the data source, they support after report triggers so you can copy the data set into another table using plsql. Or use the true after report trigger to dump the data after the document has been reported. You could build a custom delivery channel but I think there are enough 'hooks' for you to just call some plsql to do...

If i understood you correctly, Assume your xml field, that contains the text is in a table cell. Select the WHOLE cell and right click..there you will find the text direction....in that select the vertical option.. If your text doesnt exists in a table..take a dummy/shade table..
