Aw poop. I was thinking of LCA instead of tierod. Well, check that too. Tierod... well, only way I know of to check for a bent one is to do an alignment. If it wont align then it's probably why, unless the LCA is messed up. Then it could be one of them or both. If you reconnected the tierod properly then you shouldn't need an alignment. I'd focus on the brake system for that side before spending money on an alignment.

Pretty safe bet. No way to know for certain, but if history tells us anything, then that's the place to start.

Re: Trunk won't pop! The easist way is to just stretch your springs by hand and then carefully close the trunk to make sure they're not misaligned The springs compressed + their seats are flush with the frame when it's closed, if I recall, so putting anything or too much there will just make it not seat properly and put a lot of pressure on the latch... which you sure don't want breaking

Could be a loose wire, also the two bulbs that provide the backlight seem to be sensitive to burning out more than others.

It just takes some trial and error. Normally, you just have to break it loose with the wrench; then it's just finger-tight. So very little wrenching is needed. Keep at it!

No need for alignment after rear strut install, unless you are already out.

wear on brake pads? recently I had to change the front driver side knuckle. I notice that the pad closest to the engine on the driver side(have not check the passanger side yet) had about half as much as the pad on the outer side (the side furthest from the engine) just thought this was kind of akward. Asked a friend who works at o'railys he said it might be the caliber ...

A flaky IMRC. Fuel pumps USUALLY won't give you any trouble if the tank is full. The fuel filter should be changed once yearly regardless, so just do it; they are less than 10 bucks, come on.
