A bad range sensor will cause all kinds of havoc. Maybe look into that. Otherwise, I don't know a dang thing about automatic transaxles, 'cept that I'm glad I don't own one.

Heater Core Replacement?
Published (2009-11-06 13:49:00)
(I'm on oxycodene right now so take everything with a grain of salt.) That's not an excessively high temperature, which is good. Actually the morning is a little low - it should be around 190-200 degrees; the fans come on at 210 IIRC. Did you have heat this afternoon but not this morning? If so, I'd suspect your car isn't warming up well, possibly because the thermostat is sticking open or the water pump is bad...

You can do a resistance test on the coil pack to determine if it's bad. I don't know the specs off the top of my head, but they're here somewhere. I had a bad fuel injector cause a lopey idle, and a misfire. What did the cylinder 1 plug look like when you pulled it?

Sounds like my car when I got it back from the trans shop.. I did a complete tune-up and that fixed it. Yours sounds like a bad injector or something similar.

It's toast, if you're going to rebuild it the sooner the better before it totally dies.

SO do you think if I disconnected the wiper relay and pulled the power on them, would the problem go away? If thats the case I can buy a relay and switch and rewire the wipers :P

I just ruined my IAC cleaning with TB spray and it didn't even need it. Baking @250F for an hour brought it back to life slightly but only as a handicap. Re-oiling didn't do anything. With 12V hooked up it would just jerk a little and while installed, would stall the Engine. "Autopsy" didn't bring any explanations.
I would not recommend flooding it with cleaner and then letting it sit. ...

Your alternator is dead.
You have a really hardy battery that is trying its best, but it can't hang.

See if you have 12V at the motor connector when it's supposed to be on. If not, and you've double checked the fuses, it's time to start tracing the wiring to see where the 12V stops.

Take it apart and sand the slide pins clean. Clean inside the channels the pins slide in as well. Then put fresh grease on them and slap it back together.

what is your coolant temp doing? its possible your water pump is shot.
however, if you need to replace the heater core, you will have to remove the whole dash panel to get access to it.
