You won't see any gains unless your overall diet is in order (BMR plus or minus 500) depending on wheter you want to bulk or cut. A whey protein shake is supplement which is supplemental to your overall diet.

I ran Jungle Warfare for a month whilst on EKnight's Westside routine and felt great. Solid gains and quite a lot of intensity. Did feel as though I was becoming accustomed to it by the end of the month though and felt like I could have upped the dose for the last week-ten days... Per pound? I thought it was pr kilo? I weight 67 kilos and according to this article http://exercise.about.com/cs/nutrition/a/protein_2.htm and various other i would need my weight in kilos x 1.0-1,5 according to how active i am and what my goal is.

I'm almost out of my off-brand whey so I've been looking around the M&S store for a replacement. I've been looking at ON Whey Gold Standard of course, but I came across a couple other interesting products by them. Has anyone tried their 2:1:1 Recovery or their After Max? After Max sounds like one of the "best of both worlds" things. A lot of protein but also enough calories to almost consider it a...

That is probably your best bet. There is quite a few different formulas out there, but I personally think that 1 gram/ lb of body weight is the best. I think most others on the forum would agree with me.

Usually its more important to take Whey Protein right after your workout. Something to take before bed would be a Casein not a Whey.

IMO you should drop the white flood and get your training and diet together. If you were having trouble getting through your workout, it tells me that you were either lacking in your pre workout nutrition or because of the fact that you workout 6 days a week, your body is lacking proper recovery time. Alot of the time its dependent on weather you use water or milk. The milk would make it alot creamier and taste like a real milkshake and sometimes using water can be just blah but ive gotten used to it. the idea PWO is to get the protien to your muscles as fast as possible. mixing with milk will not let that happen. how if you are talking about using your Shake as a meal replacement / right before bed drink, that is a diffrent story.
