Just check your form with rear delt raises weight isnt important for it. Try using the cable machine as it may help keep you arm in correct position or if you have a fly machine sit backwardson it and do reverse fly

Side Press

Should have titled that: Side Barbell/Dumbbell Press Does anyone, or has anyone, done the side press? Is it considered a safe exercise? Can it be considered detrimental to skeletal health, if done correctly? Advice welcome, many thanks.

How long you been training ? why not try lighter weights to get the technique and use to doing the extensions on that arm. I had a similar problem when doing shoulder work as my left shoulder was weaker than my right so i had to start off on lighter weights and build it up.

Yep, love tabata drills - they really get you working hard. Short duration but very intense, used extensively by bodyweight trainers.

Is this where you bend over in a windmill position and perform a press? If so i think i've seen on a few kettlebell sites. I imagine if done with strict form (as always) it would be great for core stability and strength as well as shoulder stability. Unfortunately i can't help about the skeletal health thing but IMO looking through some kettlebell sites would be your best bet. Fozzie
