If you want to keep the calories from whey to a minimum, buy 100% pure whey with no additives. One tablespoon gives you 9g of protein and only 35 calories. You can get either whey protein concentrate or whey protein isolate. If you are lactose intolerant, get isolate if you can afford it, although it can be a little pricey.
