Cheat Meals

You can have a Cheat DAY once per week. Anything can be eaten this day including foods you have left outside of the diet. This can include sugary, fatty foods. However you should not exceed an additional 50% of your calories, as bodyfat levels can possibly rise. Enjoy the one day of the week where you can satisfy your cravings, it is only one day. Cheat days/cheat meals are important to help stop the dieting plateau that can come when cutting.

weight loss workouts and routines

Hi welcome to the forum. Losing 19 kg in under 4 months is trying to lose fat too quick, what normally happens dieting this way is that muscle tissue gets used up, as muscle burns calories if you lose muscle then your metabolism will slow down, the body will only allow a certain amount of fat to be lost weekly without losing muscle, you should aim for a 2lb fat loss per week Follow the links given by Scrutiny for some great advice.

If it worked well, you should continue with it. As they say - dont fix it, if it aint broke. Some ppl respond well to heavy weight, low rep scheme - whether for putting on muscle or reducing fat. Some ppl respond well to light weight and high rep scheme - again for putting on muscles or reducing fat. The fact is this : you are using weights to build/maintain muscle, as well as expend calories. So if heavy weight and low reps work for you -...

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the explanations everyone. I'll definitely start tracking my waist to see numbers. Also, I hate to keep asking this question, but I need to know before I implement the changes the wrong way. One member suggested cutting more calories if I'm not seeing the results I want by increments of 200, my question on this is: When experimenting like this, should I lower calorie intake to 2450 (as opposed to...

in terms of keeping you healthly and fit cardio wise, then yes it is good. In terms of fat loss, it m,ight help a little, but i wouldnt only rely on that as your onaly cardio.
Your profile says bulking, so unless you are sprinting from stop to stop, It shouldn't have that much of an effect on your bulk.

you can definitely do alot to strengthen and grow the muscle the given
area, but in terms of losing fat... no such thing as spot reduction, its
more or less a matter of losing body fat as a whole. look into some of the
fat cutting routines and advice on the site, and also look about changing
your diet, as that is usually a big effector in determining the amount of
fat your body is hanging onto...
