Hi, i've not long joined as a consultant and the starter kit is basically free. HOWEVER you do not start earning commission until your party sales reach £300. you do not have to do that in your home show and can take as long as you like as long as your leader knows you are actively doing the parties

I've very rarely see a survey worth more than 10p, and more and more seem to be prize draws. It's taken me well over a year to get within sight of the payout ... and now they're redoing their website, so no surveys at the moment. However, I use OnePoll because they don't make you go through a survey and then say you don't qualify, and although they pay pennies the surveys are quick.

Some basic info about AVON. (tried to base on questions from newbies)
To join up - contact Avon and you will be allocated an area manager/sales leader who will come out and visit you, give you more information and sign you up - sales leaders are generally easier to contact and provide more help but all comes down to who you get!
You pay a £15 sign up fee when joining, you pay this ...

Toluna is just filling in surveys they send. Usually by answering a choice of questions rather than giving your written opinion of something.
The main problem is they take ages to pay you. I'm still waiting of payments from September,

Yep - I was the same. Claimed Tesco instead. It was a bit annoying as I was going to put them towards Christmas, but figured I could use it towards groceries then spend the saved cash on presents elsewhere.
I'm not anticipating them turning up any time soon though, but as I need money now didn't want to risk the same message in two weeks' time.

Be warned that many of the internet based companies are using affiliates to promote their business which will mean that someone will get a percentage of any monies due to you. I recently received such an email from an affiliate of Money4Gold so perhaps you should go direct not that I am recommending them or any other company in any way.

Assuming that your main job has taken care of your personal allowance, and that you are not anywhere near the 40% rate, then you should pay tax at 20% on the extra job. Only you can decide whether it is worth sacrificing your time for: it depends on your priorities. Starting 2010 debt free sounds like a good idea to me.

Good pictures and a decent decription, I find if I put a bit of time into it I always seem to make a bit more than when I rush it.
I have made £200 recently selling used toys and clothes that are no longer worn from around the house-all helps in time for christmas
