Well I was only 5ft 1 (still am) and 7 stone (erm, not anymore) when DH and I started going out - he was was 6 inches and a 2 or 3 stone more. My predecessor Jill-Who-Did-Orville-Impressions was significantly more substantial. She irritated him no end, but by God, he missed her when his Spitfire needed bump starting!

Nope. I may disagree strongly with peeps in here and cross swords with them, but when I look up I see my home and not the screen/user. I certainly don't take it all with me when I log out.
The net is interesting and useful, but has its place firmly on my desk and it doesn't move from there.

Oh please don't. I bought DD a pre-lit tree from Matalan in the sales for £3 during the summer. She was rearranging her room and wanted to see the size of the tree so she could figure out where it was going...
...two hours later, and we now have two kids bedrooms resplendent with xmas trees...ours will be waiting quite a while longer *sigh*

London (my neck of woods) -
(1) not having to sit in a traffic jam for ages.... public transport is (on the whole) very good, and you can get to tons of interesting places.
(2) you find there are a lot of clever professional people in your neighbourhood (often commuting into centre), so not so much social trouble (touch wood)
