It's blowing up a gale out there tonight! Really windy! Since my last post, I've done general tidying and decluttering, chucking and flinging! And have emptied my piggy bank and counted up all the pennies, 2p's and 5p's. Buyer has just contacted me to say the glass...

Are these the super-charged mega-hot red chilies we are talking about, or the long green-ish ones that are sometimes served at kebab houses? If the former, just share them out with family and friends if you are not using them all. If the latter, they are not terribly spicy and are very good eaten alongside chips, or in pitta with salad and hummus. HTH

1. You don't have to complete the daily list on the same day to get your star but try and do some in the week to give yourselves more free time at the weekend 2. You must do levels 1,2 and 3 to get a star but remember the 'extras' are extras and don't count towards the stars! 3. Please make it obvious when you have finished a list so that I know you need a star - for example Monday Done! ...

I use chopped up hotdogs in stirfrys or in omlettes if I've forgotten to defrost any meat. I'd make saag aloo with the spinach which is just boiled and chopped up or mashed potatoes, spinach, some cumin, butter and seasoning to taste Although I tend to chuck a lot of old tinned food I can't think of anything to do with into omlettes unoriginally enough

Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean that others don't! I don't care much for chips, roast or fried potatoes. I like jackets, boiled and mashed. I like boulangere potatoes but you would probably find them too labour intensive. I cook food from scratch, that's probably too time consuming for some people but it's what I prefer to do. A bit of effort produces some lovely meals It ...
