Hi Overkill, Sincere apologies for that - it does indeed come from a roll of stickers and should also have had one of our "Postage Paid" labels attached, all cheques above a certain value are sent recorded/special as a matter of policy, in case we need to re-issue them. As you might expect I let out a long sigh when I saw your posts this morning and can only apologise for the final 'insult to injury' here - we...

GPS is only chargeable if you download maps on the fly (as you go), when you'll be charged for the date you use. With tomtom or garmin all the maps are in the install package so there's no downloading going on, therefore no charge. . .

Hello JohnMc, and welcome to the forums.
How old is the BlackBerry? If it's less than a year old it's probably still under warranty.
You mention that the niggles and faults are minor. Could it just be that the phone is a little worn from use?

I have claimed from Dial-a-phone sucessfully but you have to follow the terms very carefully. You should send in the claims ontime (1-2 month period) and from the correct bill and finally by recorded delivery to ensure it arrived.
You should also not modify your tariff or it may invalidate it.
Basically if you are dubious, its too must hassle, or you cant afford a contract without cashback ...

No network will gives real 'unlimited'. And the ASA don't seem to think thats a problem.
As well as the network access the iPhone also comes with 750 mega a month of wifi, so if he's near a hot spot he can access through that.
I think you've got an up hill task with Orange on this one, as they told him there's no cooling off period with anything bought in store, but most importantly you're ...

Hi we are coming to the end of an 18 month contract that my teenager uses. He is on £35 per month 750 mins 750 texts and manages to go over nearly every month partly because the online checker is so far behind, but also because he is a motormouth!
I think we will probably cancel as we don't want another long contact but might try retentions first. In your experience folks what would be a good ...

You signed up to O2 600 (so you thought) which would be £30 a month and had a bonus discount £5.
O2 themselves signed you to O2 25 Bonus tariff? Persumably the 25 refers to £30 minus £5 bonus tariff?
But you are still got the same deal though or am I reading this wrong, its long :-)
If you change the bolt on to data, O2 said you lose the text bolt on?

Hi, Ive been with 3 for quite a few years and was on the same contract as you. At my last renewal I changed my package for the same mins and texts as I already had but the price went down to £15.00 a month for each!
Just tell them what you want and that you will leave if they cant improve the offer. Ive always found them very approachable and willing to negotiate.
Good luck

I think that if you view the iPhone for what it is - essentially an iPod Touch that can get online where there's no WiFi signal - rather than as a somewhat cumbersome mobile 'phone with a pointlessly pathetic 2 MP camera, then a second-hand 2G iPhone with an O2 PAYG iPhone SIM makes brilliant sense.
It really depends on just how much you will need to access data when out of range of a ...
