Tiptoes in.... I happily use aqueaous cream on my body, but do not like it for my face. I do not particularly like or dislike chemicals, I just don't find it works well on my face at all, neither as a cleaning agent, or for skin health. I have very recently started with oil cleansing, but castor oil, though excellent, might deter some chemical phobics. Its also, for me, not every day, and finding a balance isn't straiht forward, but...

Tea tree oil is a cheaper (and natural) alternative. You can get it from many health food stores and also from the body shop (if you want to pay the extra)

I would like to recommend the Wet N Wild range that is now in Tesco, its been out for ages in the US and is considered one of the top budget brands, when I say budget I super budget So far I have tried the foundation (£1.97) and I would compare it too EL Doublewear light, its just fab and my dd has tried the black eyeliner, a huge size for 97p and she loves it, stays put, no itchy eyes, I plan on trying other products from the range (its not...

I used Morrisons Value conditioner this morning (36p). I was expecting it not to be as good as the coconut shampoo from tescos but....it has left my hair just as clean, soft and conditioned so I'm impressed. The only downside to this kind of CO washing (for me) is that is can be rather boring! I miss the shopping experience of buying and trying different products, the bottles don't look nice in my bathroom and I miss the gorgeous...

Peroxide is good, but get a peroxide mouthwash like Peroxyl, rather than trying to dilute your own (And DON'T use neat H2O2!!!)

Why wont anyone share the password for the Slimming World Members site Lifeline Online? It may seem unfair that those members who attend class each week and therefore know the password do not share it! The simple answer to this is that the sharing of the password will get this invaluable forum shut down. I can say no more on the subject as the following letter sums it up ...

Why not visit your GP and ask for a referral to have it done? It seems like a reasonable request to me. In the meantime if you're not already keeping a food-diary I'd do this as it will be helpful information for the dietician. A friend of mine is lactose-intolerant and the effects sound rather like IBS to me

I'd be interested in what folks say as well. I need a sensitive toothpaste but they are horrendously pricey. There are new ones out by sensodyne and colegate at the mo which are supposed to offer instant relief. Anyone tried them?

As a long time lurker, I've read the previous threads religiously, I don't like posting as I can't deal with speaking about my illness, I also hate receiving sympathy, so I always enjoy reading AB's posts as they stir a lot of emotions in me, sometimes anger, sometimes understanding for my illness, but they never upset me ...

I'm going to try and remember to watch it as I also have the CD from years ago but it never really seems to work. I probably don't give it long enough. I also reached my goal weight with Weight Watchers although I can't remember what year and have put on 8 stone since then (lost 4 stone at the time). I've lost 1 stone over the last year but I'd like to lose more and quicker. Anyway I'll ...

I'll regularly use almond oil (about £1 for a bottle) masage it in and remove with a muslin cloth, alternatively I jut use the olay basic cleanser and remove it with a muslin cloth. My skin is also really sensitive and I tend to find facial washes too harsh. OK, so some of us have joined WW on a 3-month trial for free thanks to the lovely Quidco : ) Someone had the genius suggestion that we should see what we get for our 5p (or was it minus 5p?) by tracking our weight loss in a dedicated thread. You can see by my sig that I have been struggling to shift weight since January, so I will try anything at this stage! The challenge will start now ...
