the reason for delaying joint replacement surgery for as long as possible is that the replacements have a limited lifespan and often a revision or further replacement is not successful. Although at 50 you feel you would settle for that 15 years would you still feel the same at 65 or 70 if you have to then have a girdlestone procedure which would result in an unmoveable hip joint.

MU a pill box is a very good idea; I have a lovely silver one with a green jewelled butterfly on that Mr LW bought for me at a craft fair. I always put my evening meds in it so that I can grab it and put it in my handbag if we're going out. I have to take 9 tablets in the mornings and 7 in the evenings, and Mr LW takes just 3 in the mornings. I always set out the next days' tablets as part of our bedtime routine - the ones for the...

Are they cortisone injections? One thing I would suggest is asking for something to relax you beforehand. I wouldn't have been able to do it without and it meant I couldn't remember what happened afterwards. You will also need someone to take you home in a car.
Be warned - it will be painful for a few days afterwards. I had nine in my upper back and neck and couldn't move afterwards.

could it be it's giving up the ciggies that's made you have a short fuse.
Bi-polar is times of depression followed by times of mania - hyperactivity.
Could be you are stressed or maybe your hormones going a bit haywire?
Good that you are going to get it checked out as it sounds like there is something going on that's affecting your moods.

I've made thispost a sticky pending moderator approval.
I would just add that even if your condition is treated as a disability you need not declare yourself as a person with a disability if you do not wish to. I know this is an odd thing to say but many people with disabilities prefer to manage without their employers or officialdom labelling them as such and no one can force you to declare ...

You can park anywhere you like in a private car park, like tesco's for example.
Do you mind me parking in a disabled space if all the kiddie spaces are full?

It's not unlimited free taxis... you can choose to have either a bus pass or some taxi tokens instead. I think you have to be on higher rate of DLA mobility.. but I could be wrong about that

Is there a reason why your partner cannot collect the cheque? Surely to go to Argos you would need to go out anyway? You can't pay by cheque if ordering by phone.
