A bit of a flying visit - I am working on the download site this evening so will have dinner and then head straight out. In an attempt to get into one of my party frocks, I am doing low-carb for a few days.......so, cheese salad for lunch, and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for dinner......I will be desperate for a bag of haribo very soon

Thanks CMD and Lucielle I have had to move £100 between accounts to prop up DDs and STOs. We have 2 main accts - 1 we try to keep overdraft free - and the second we occasionally allow to go slightly into overdraft... This is now £100 worse in overdraft than before. I have had it agreed that I will get paid earlier than originally planned in Dec so hopefully later in the month I will feel more positive! Will make Jan longer tho

I'm trying to drop the carbs this week too. It's our do on Friday and my dress is uber-tight. My friend and I started a "10 weeks / 10lbs" weight loss challenge 9 weeks ago and so far I've lost 4lbs Just had salmon salad for tea, but had a cheese sandwich and 2 finger Kitkat for lunch

Well after exhausting our piles of cds on music magpie last month (£57 made there ) , I've recently tried selling some old books from uni on Amazon. Wasn't sure how it would go, or if any would sell, but I've made nearly £50 in the last 2 weeks! Am well chuffed! Another one sold today for £13 profit, so have paid another £13 off on our credit card. It's great to see it going down.
Gonna ...

Hi everyone
First day back at work today after having last week off. Far too sunny to be stuck inside all day but hey ho!
Not helped with the losing weight as I ate a slice of homemade chocolate cake this morning as it was someone's birthday. I don't normally indulge in cakes unless they're WeightWatchers so don't know what I was thinking of really but it was lovely
I've made a ...

Hello
Today I had my first real omg lightbulb moment, so I'm here, starting a wee mini diary / challenge to keep me on track.
Currently still living at home, hoping to move out next year. My income is greatly variable due to my job but my outgoings are small so I'm not struggling with payments at the moment (though I did only make the minimums the past couple of months ).
The ...

Hi Cinny,
Didn't know you had a diary! 'Seen' you on Dinah's thread though. How long does your Tesco 0% have to run? I'm sure you can pay off by Xmas, if paying ?25 - ?30 a week, that's around ?100 a month, you'll do it no problem, I'm sure.
Or, why not pay off using savings then start afresh?!

Its like having your house put on the back of a low loader and moved one day and then demolished and rebuilt the next!
Now this would be interesting, if only they could get rid of the cancer causing part of it:
