Well, mudbath, I set myself the challenge of paying for my own ski holiday next month with free bingo/casino money, and did it in just a few days......so you will certainly get the school trip money out of it with a bit of effort and luck on your side!

hi Milann - I religiously pay my cashback card in full every month - no matter what the pain as it were! I don't count that in my debts at all just as a way of buying things and getting some dosh back for doing so! Rather you than me wi the medical issues - like you say at least the smear was clear which is good!

Don't worry, its 20,000. I guess we're lucky we don't argue if we don't go out, we're probably more happy snuggled up with a DVD than out in the cold outside world! I write usually 3 reviews per account per day, somedays I do more on NIMs. Today I messed up and wrote a 500 word one then closed the window rather than posting it it seems! Only takes me 10 mins to do a basic 250 word one, since I never get crowns...

I'm not a good one to ask over the dooyoo cheque/voucher thing. I make out I'm going to save for the cheque but always fail and get the voucher once I reach 25,000 Me and OH had that problem a while ago Zig, that's when we got the Cineworld cards just to get us out the house for a bit! Have you managed to talk your OH round to the idea yet? Ooo, all excited for my 3 week challenge starting tomorrow Going to stop at the bank on...

Hiya hun!
I think you have done remarkably well over the past year or so - so what if your debt has stayed the same for 5 months? It has not gone up, and you have had more than most of us have had to deal with, so in my book that is worthy of a huge pat on the back.
You are very definitely making strides in the right direction - and once you find the method of having your backside kicks...

And the main thing is that you have started your new diary before the old habits kick in.
Remember, it is like dieting - losing the weight is only half the battle.....just because the scales say we are at target weight, doesn't mean we can scoff again!
So.......once a DFW, always a DFW. And let's face it, why would we want to be anything different

Asda shop today ?87 for two of us, which is less than last week. I have completely filled the newly defrosted freezer, and I intend this shop to last us two full weeks instead of the usual 10 days. Still spent far too much on snacks as Mr. Fire Fox is working 12 hour days, 7 days a week and he often does not want 'proper' food when he gets home.
Also rang Tesco clubcard to sort out my change ...

OK, small amendment to the above: have an online saving account I haven't used for a few years. I wanted to start squirrelling away a bit of money in it, but forgot the password. I rang up to be readvised of the password last week, and due to the bank holiday it has only just arrived today. I got a nice surprise when I opened it, finding that there were ?105 Great British pounds hiding in there, ...

Its like having your house put on the back of a low loader and moved one day and then demolished and rebuilt the next!
Now this would be interesting, if only they could get rid of the cancer causing part of it:

Hi Cinny,
Didn't know you had a diary! 'Seen' you on Dinah's thread though. How long does your Tesco 0% have to run? I'm sure you can pay off by Xmas, if paying ?25 - ?30 a week, that's around ?100 a month, you'll do it no problem, I'm sure.
Or, why not pay off using savings then start afresh?!
