My recollections of having made a CHAPS payment from a NatWest account are:
1 - All the branch do is fill in a form, get you to sign it, and fax it to one of their " central" offices for implementation.
2 - The time that it is actually "sent" is the time the "central" office process the fax.
3 - They tell you that to be sure of same-day processing the fax should be sent before 1pm....

If you stay where you are, you will be charged £1 a day for going overdrawn. Convert to Reward, you'll still be charged £1 a day but will get paid a £5er every month you credit £1000 to the account
The first thing you really need to do is work out how to get back into the black, as an overdraft should really only be dipped into at the end of a month at worst

My friend has an A&L account and pays his rent the same day he gets paid and his online banking shows a negative figure. He has yet to be charged.

But not everyone has a mobile phone. How does this work?
Otherwise, I think it's a good idea. Sounds somewhat similar to Halifax's thing where they phone you if they think a transaction is suspicious, and certainly better than Nationwide/Natwest's card readers.

There is - Nationwide Flex Account - but I seriously doubt they'll allow you to open one for the sole purpose of gambling. They want it to be your main account or at least have other products with them.

Charging customers for using hole-in-the wall cash machines and internet banking are just two ideas being considered by hard-up banks.
I really don't think this can happen.
If my bank charged even a tiny amount for either of these two services, then I'd be gone in a flash.
Surely although internet banking must cost a fortune to ...

Speak to Barclays. They may offer a euro account. Then you could use a currency exchange trader to convert to pounds.

This happens all the time. Some banks anti fraud software is over sensitive and once they have blocked you once it gets even more sensitive. It eventually goes away.

Citibank allow daily withdrawls of up to £500
If you need a lot of cash you could always go into branch and withdraw it over the counter

The bank is charging you for breaching your terms and conditions.
If you can't understand simple finance, then pay off this bank and close the account down.
Then go to the Co-Op and get a basic bank account and start again.
NEVER go for two months (!) without checking your balance.
And NEVER assume that you know how much money is in there or that you know exactly how much to take ...
