When sending the forms back to the OR, do I have to send 2 sets of bank statements, one for each of us, or will one set do. Seems stupid to send the same statements twice, with it being a joint account?

I think it would go down very nicely with the OR, but this being the civil service and everything, it would probably go to a charity if it came from an open case.

Hi there.
Try not to panic, i know its hard. You are amongst some good people here who know what the experience is like.
Once you have filled in the forms. Double check them and list all your debts carefully aswell as your statement. If your using cab, they will reallt help you.
Its actually really hard thinking straight in these situations. There are so many things go through your ...

The wording is within 21 days of the change in circumstances which is a bit open to interpretation, but i would take it as 21 days from when you start the job

Good idea SSA
It should be easier to keep it bumped up over here as well as the BR board doesn't move as quickly as the DFW one

what you have written is very clear and concise, sounds what i think they are after
in addition, when i filled mine out i was also told to include dates and amounts of debt incurred and what this was for, so i would also include this. eg June 08 took out credit card for xxx reason, current balance £xxx etc
also tag on the end that you understand the implications of bankruptcy and ...

In a mess, you are having last minute jitters, completely natural and understandable.
You have been advised to file for bankruptcy, and if you don't go ahead now the problem will still not go away.
Each Official Receiver is different and there is no way of knowing how they will react to your gambling or spending, but would a BRO be an acceptable sacrifice for financial freedom and a ...

Well dont try your co-op card with tesco.com the order will go through then they will phone you up just before your delivery is due to say there is a problem with your card. The card is supposed to be a full visa debit but the retailers need to update their systems.

Can you put up a more detailed SOA if possible, you need to include how may in the household, partners income if there is one and things like that. I am useless at doing this as you will see if you look on the board, there are quite a few SOA threads of mine, for some reason I just cannot get my head around it. If you use the template in the linkk below and then repost it, I am sure someone will...

Could you possibly move
If you have spare blankets, fleeces throw them over the curtains at teatime.
Its amazing how much cold air it stops.
short curtains, put something against them to hold them to the wall, lots of cold air comes from down there.
I used to live in a house where the inside of the windows froze up so i know how you feel. I used to get dressed under the blankets.
