sorry podmo. the missing is due to the ecu shutting down one or more cylinders. it will do this at the drop of a hat, because it detects cylinder misfires over a certain threshold that you may not even notice! often 'turning it off and on again' will reset it for a while. did you grind the valves in?

The car in question I thought was a 56 plate A150. DVD is not supported on these with Audio20. On the pre MY2009 W211 E class there is a firmware update to play MP3 DVD's in the Comand head unit. Please be aware there are different Audio20 units, quite a few now that MY2009 is out and still called Audio20 even though it has a colour screen.

Hi Television, Update on my immobiliser problem. Even though the remote key fob opened the doors and made the lights flash on the interior mirror I decided to fit new batteries to the fob. And Hey Presto the immobliser problem was no more, yippee. I still have the problem with no power to the window switches or the window fuses but not had much time to look into that and hopefully will at weekend. Kind regards Fazzah

Hi, You say you have no lights out, at what point does the warning light come on? on side lights? or when the dipped beam is on? when the brake light pedal is pushed? Be careful saying all your lights are ok on the 202 as you have two lamps in each rear light cluster, it could be that only one is not working and the other one is on still giving you the impression that they are all ok.
