You were spot on with the brakes Kees......just been out and hit the brakes HARD from about 80mph. I did this 2 times and once Id collected all my intrnal organs back up I drove normally for a few more miles and checked the brakes again. They seem much much better now so will monitor them over the next few days. The fluid looks super clear and the fluid bottle looks new...... Hay, ab 1994 wurden bei ALPINA geänderte Kipphebel für den M30 Motor genommen. Die Oberfläche ist speziell behandelt, damit die Kipphebel stabiler werden. i have a contact who can rebuild the getrag gearboxes phil crouch also knows him, he has rebuilt the gearboxes on two bts that i know of and he does an excellent job from what i hear so theres no point in going to alpina and paying 4500 and according to alpina buchloe the gearboxes cannot be rebuilt which was true until this guy did the bt gearbox, phil crouch is a very good engineer when it comes to alpinas but so is mark from mjf...

After hours and hours of internet search , I was lucky enough to find out (in the Netherlands) these Eibach sport springs, for E12 chassis (very rare find as their production is discontinued by Eibach). Looking into the OEM, spring references are identical for both E12 and pre 1981 E24, so the E12 Eibach should work on my E24. The extra weight of the E24 corresponds to 120 kgs, therefore the extra lowering should be limited to 1-2 mm. I paid...

It depends. Is it going to be your daily driver? If not I would go for a B8. I can only recommend the experience. It is a very special car. There are not too many made either.
