The O2 sensors make alot of sence. i try to keep my foot out of it but on the highway i drive between 70-90mph. so that could explain that. the truck is really odd it had 8 lug 3/4 axles on it but they but 1/2 breaks off like a yukon or escalade. the rear end is wider than the front so the bed has small flairs on it, kind of like a dually. all great ideas on good upgades. i have been doing some more reading and i think a tune is going to be...

Yea sorry guys I should have worded it different. But yea it won't fire till about the 3rd hit of the key. Now I did replace the fuel press. reg. and it still had the problem. I made a steel vacum line and unplugged the EGR valve which seemed to help it fires up first start now...so far. But now when I turn the key on and the pump pressurises the system now I hear an air leak in the gas tank.

That looks kind of neat. I've always kind of wanted a G-meter, if for no other reason then to say I have one haha. If you buy it, let us all know if it works good

Thats cool dude. I do agree with 1970judge. The setup is really stupid. When the water pump starts leaking it takes the distributor with it. Don't know what GM was thinking there but what ever. Don't get me wrong I love my 1995 chevy Camaro Z28 but you know. Now 1970judge is also right about the its just a standard 350 to a point. But this LT1 engine is a little different at the same time....

Sounds like she's just cold matured when it comes to starting. Give her a shot of ether, not a big one, just a little one. The shutting off problem is going to be a little tricky to diagnose w/out doing a lot of tests. I'd advise you to get it running one day and put a voltmeter on the battery and see how many volts it has coming from it. Or you can just get a reading off of the alternator...

Put a block of clay on your intake that reaches to the cowl and rev the motor up real quick in park. Or to measure it with the amount of chassis flex, just drive down the road and do it.
