Howdy all...holiday went fine...a little off with our timing, but it all made it to the table and we have some good leftovers for a while. Did some shopping today..not early, but went out later in the morning..my haul was from bath and body works..stocked up on some candles. Enjoy the weekend..

Morning, have 32 pple coming for dinner tonite. Italian is on the menu......right now I am just trying not to eat sweets. I am up a few lbs but some of it is fluid, my rings r terribly tight this morning and my knee feels so tight i can hardly bend it. At any rate, hope everyone has a wonderful week end. No shopping in sight for me, I have too much company and too many things to do. Having a ball so I don't really mind

Everyone's menus sound wonderful! Dawn - the first time I got laid-off I tried to get back into the same type of field of work and after a few weeks I had a contract job that turned full time.. but then got laid off again and then decided to re-train for a new field of work since the high-tech industry had bitten me twice. I know that for me on unemployment going to school did not affect things and in fact meant that my benefits would...

Checking in. Our Thanksgiving was pretty good. The Menu was Leg of Lamb, Green beans cooked with bacon, and mashed cauliflower bake, and then lc pumpkin pie and whipped cream for dessert. I did eat way too much, and probably had about 33 carbs for the day. On Thanksgiving morning I was down to 212, but this morning after eating too much on Thanksgiving and eating too much of the leftovers yesterday, I am back up to 213.6. Still not bad, I dont...

Doing a quick check in. Thanksgiving was fun. I was bad and ate way too many carbs. This weekend I'm having 2 birthday parties for my son. Yesterday was the one for his friends to come to. Then he had his best buddy spend the night last night. Tonight I'm having the birthday party for the family to come to. My house is just too small to have one big party. My son wants me to make indian tacos for supper tonight. We have 16 people...

The smallest size they carry is a 9, and mine are now getting a bit uncomfortably loose. Any ...

Welcome Winston and congrats on your losses so far!! Suggestions.....well, personally I wouldn't get rid of the celery. If you feel it is too many carbs you can just cut back a little but really it is very healthy so no need to get rid of it. im not sure what it would be but it could be related to the weight...if it's interfering with sleep or any major function (walking etc) i would at least have it checked out by a doctor...if you are losing feeling or like it's "falling asleep" it could be a nerve issue...i've had that with my lower back discs and a part of my calf seems to now be permanently "falling asleep" where i have lost some...
