With the team's epic failure to win yesterday's 4 point game, the Kings are now at the mercy of hoping that Detroit loses to Nashville, that Columbus loses two games, and that Phoenix loses to Edmonton; all of which are unlikely prospects. Those factors alone drop us to 8th place.
Throw in counting on the Stars to lose to hapless Carolina, and you'll see the distinct possibility of 9th ...

No Kings feed, and the Canucks feed is PPV only .
Double check it tomorrow though... In the past, I've seen games listed as blacked out but the feed shows up anyway. Who knows?

Well it's not like we've got solid NHL ready prospects ready to take his spot. But chances are he'll be spending most of the season on the fourth line or on the bench once we're healthy if he doesn't take advantage of this oppportunity.

I know everyone will say it's an overreaction, but if smyth is going to miss 10+ games we need to bring someone in.
We can't have Ivanans play on the 3rd line as now we have two lines that can't score.
We can't make the playoffs in the next 10 games but we can miss them because of them. Not getting points at this point in the season will come back to bite the Kings.

I personally think it's way too early to be looking into the standings still.
The only time we can be "happy" is when an east coast team beats a west coast team.
When the west coast teams play each other, you just have to hope it doesn't go into OT/Shootout.
As long as the Kings win their share of games, everything will fall into place. We're still in November. I would rather not worry ...
