Ellis Scores Career High 45 Points

Chris Hunter >> Mikki Moore. Hunter is the first "big that the W's have found (not a high draft pick or trade) since ... um... George Johnson? They better not blow this one. He's at least as good as Gortat.

I don't think Nelson is planning on retiring. He doesn't think like most people who want to get there ASAP. Here's an article that tells you some of Nelson's thinking. Ok, I can accept wanting to stay on and work if that's what he wants, but he needs to be patient and get over his pneumonia first and become strong again. This man is 69, yet, he's acting like a spoiled kid wanting to do something fun when he's...

Don't have anything more to add than what you guys have already. Maggette was a mistake. A financial mistake and a talent mistake.

I love what Geoff Lepper over at 48minutes.net wrote about him after the Indiana game: Quote: In the (sort of) words of Dennis Green: Chris Hunter is who we thought Richard Hendrix was. And he really does seem to be exactly what I was expecting Hendrix might be. Not flashy, but fundamentally sound and very solid down low.

Maggette has got to go. He's all numbers. He's an Antwan Jamison, only not as good and more injury prone. We need a guy like Brandon Roy. 4 year college player. Not all that athletic, but gets the job done with numbers and intangibles. Plus, he plays defense, not just offense, and he makes others around him better. What does Maggette do? He plays one side of the court most nights even at a natural position of small forward and...

Shane Battier is the ideal guy to be in Magette's place. Hard nosed, playes defense, moves the ball, can score if others are having a tough night but doesn't look for his own shots. He's everything that Magette isn't

I like Ellis, but I have a feeling he'll move out of GS in the next 2
years.

I knew it was a terrible signing. He's been exposed, if he can barely function in Don Nelson's offense he can't function anywhere. The guy is like a smaller version of Zach Randolph. He puts up pretty stats but those stats don't translate into wins. Never understood why you guys went after him anyways, good luck with him for the next four years, I don't see anybody ...

With over $10M at stake and his all-time wins record so close, I think the
chances are very small. Basically he would have to be hospitalized and even
then I'm not sure he'd retire. From my perspective Nelson is ridiculous,
the guy and his family have many millions already, they are stinking rich
by any measure, and he probably only has a few years, maybe decades if he's
lucky, left on this earth...

Last nights ending...was a laugher, and I don't mean that with any
disrespect for your team, but gosh that was a bad ending for you guys last
night.

I agree. The players are not being held accountable for their defensive mistakes. But, the loss had less to do with Watson when we got guys like Ellis and Curry getting more turnovers than assists. We just threw away possessions. Our two forwards looked more like point guards than those two. We even had 9 more shots on goal than the rockets did... It was just a sloppy game, along with some ...

He's going to miss 3 months according to Stein's Twitter: Warriors just confirmed that Raja Bell will miss a minimum of 3 months but IS expected back, possibly as early as March.
So, don't expect any trades.

The Nets are horrific I can see them quitting after the first half. Monta Ellis is going to have his way against anyone trying to defend him.

What about Speedy Claxton? I thought he was ready to play according to his Twitter when he got traded. Not that I want him to play but sounds like his injury and Devean George's injury are made-up.

Just got a call five minutes ago from a friend who had an extra ticket. So, lets hope I don't drive my ass all the way out there to see them lose to the f'n Pacers. If they can keep the ball moving around like they have lately, I think they should be able to pull it out.
