> Those filters in the Jp mag article you gave the link to look interesting, I'm not all that emotionally tied to my TrueFlow filter though it does a lot better than that POS K&N I removed years ago. I wonder if I can find one of those to fit the RockIt tube.

> The part you need is in the base of the distributor - the pig-tail that comes out of the distributor is the connector for the cam position sensor. There's nothing sandpaper or anything else will do to fix this failed sensor. When replacing it, try not to remove the distributor - if you do remove it, let me know & I'll send you the instructions to re-align it properly. It's not hard to install it 1 tooth out.

> I am not sure I can do that... I agree that stock rocks, but given the chance to have a tough ride on slightly larger tires is too much for me. I must. Certainly you understand?! Here's a link to (a lot of) images. A buddy took these for me - he lives in the town the jeep resides. www.markhawkinsphoto.com/img/commando/

Biggest tires on Stock suspension?

> Small and narrow factory axles. Adding Large tires will rub the inner fenders and the leaf springs when you turn. For now, I wouldn't run anything bigger than a 31-32 inch tire, I believe you might start to break axle parts when off-roading, and the old drum brakes will be weak when you go to stop.

94 Wrangler 2.5 sputters when...
Published (2009-12-10 09:55:00)
> When the truck is cold it is really bad and sometimes hard to start. when it warms up a bit the idle is smooth but when you accelerate, it sputters bad. Also when it is warm and out of gear I can push the pedal and it will not sputter... Any suggetions?...I don't want to just start replacing parts until it is fixed. Would kind of like to narrow it down before I start dropping cash everywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, JB

> There is a PCM flash update to extend the monitor range for the downstream O2 sensor. The TSB # is 18-028-06. This can be done at your local dealer and may fall under an emmissions warranty. If the flash has already been performed, you need to monitor the downstream O2 sensor switch rate which will require a scanner. This is a very rare code and the flash should ...
