Tiger May Quit Golf to Save...

yup..looks like it is over...for now at least. Personally think this is the best for both of them. She gets a boat load of money and brings the kids up in a happier environment..not one with suspicion and probably unhappiness. He went too far with his behaviour...I respect her decision. Now Tiger will have to live with the consequences of his choices...as she does too. She is a famous face now..heard Puma has a deal with her in the making....

I have heard the exact same thing from folks who have been close to Elin. No excuse for what he did by any means but still, kind of ordinary from what I understand.

Skink, you are undoubtedly right in what you say, but I don’t think the media should get off Scott free. I agree it’s all his own doing but they should be aware that they are inflaming an already volatile personal tragedy and should know when to ease off. Sadly the kids will grow up reading about daddy’s indiscretions in the sports history books. It should not be what he is remembered for. Yes, yes...I know, wishful thinking...I get...

Here's the commercial: http://www.tlcvision.com/why_famouspeople_tiger.fxml I think he should have gone for some touch-ups, especially considering some of his female choices.

First off, whether or not she is plain, drop dead gorgeous or can suck an egg through a straw, that is not our business. If Tiger is aware of public opinion, he can't win anything by doing this. So, maybe - JUST MAYYYYBE he does have feelings/love for his wife - I don't know, and neither do you. So let's stop it all for just a moment and think. He loves his wife and wants to save the marriage; he is doing this in attempt to...

It really takes a handicap committee to enforce the rules for if a Club does not have a waiting list it's hard for the pro or GM to put pressure on the offenders. In Minnesota we have a few clubs that are known for bogus handicaps and have been for years. What that does is the serious golfers shy away and the club is made up of those that cherish their 5th flight trophy by shooting net 59's Being a member a public club for many years...

I doubt Elin will stay with Tiger after all this. But if she wants the BIG check, she'll have to agree to stay in the US and reside near enough to Tiger that he can have joint custody of the kids and reasonable access to spend time with them. Also, it would surprise me if she was ever allowed to take the kids out of the US. My current vote for biggest dufus (douche bag) is Jesper Parnevik. He should have concentrated more on keeping his...

I'm not an expert on English history, but didn't someone who was heir to the throne give up his right to it so he could marry a woman who was once divorced? Kind of a similar situation here then I guess if Woods is really interested in trying to save the marriage to the point of ending his remarkable career on the golf course. Just as remarkable to me are the reports that Elin has said she ...

I've been a loyal fan of the show and I have to say, I really respect Andrew. I find Blake to be extremely overrated. I can't see why the others on the show have such high regard for his abilities. Did he win something big in the past that I don't know about; Nation wide event?, mid-am? because to tell you the truth, I don't see it. Not on the show at least.

If Eldrick is suspected and accused of taking PED's he will be in for even more trouble. Would those drugs show up in a blood sample, if so, how long before before they would not show up ? http://www.contributorbulletin.com/tige ... dal/11420/

Nada. Any gratis from anybody and my primary gig is out the window with you know who. As a postscript, I picked up a Wishon 919THI 10.5 Draw driver with an AXE 6 R from one of my cohorts. It plays pretty stiff for an R and my guess is that it has something to do with the Wishon head. Even though it's a regular flex in a draw biased head, it's anything but easy to turn over. Curiously though, I ...

Wow, if that's true, that is a big boy sponsor. I expect others to follow soon. How many TW commercials have you seen on TGC recently. I cannot remember seeing any.

The only analogy I can think of is Bernie Madoff. Another guy who was ****ing everyone while living off his reputation, until the facts caught up with him. Tiger is a stone cold killer, who once inside the ropes focuses on the next shot better than anyone else. That ability to put everything else out of his mind is what has always separated him from the field. We just didn't know there was so...

The touch is wonderful. I bought one for my daughter recently, and she loves it. There's lots of great little applications that may not be available on your Blackberry. How much will you actually store on it? Some movies, a bunch of music? I think that's the main decision.

My club instituted rules like this a few years ago because of a couple of problem guys who everyone knew cheated on their handicaps and one year they literaly won every single handicap event at the club, hard to believe but true. The club formed a handicap committee and the only thing they could enforce was turning in scores. Someone could still turn in faulty scores but if you played you had ...

I know that Stevie is more than likely going to have his hands full at tour events early in the season, and then perhaps things may die down a little. Whatever happens, Tiggee is going to have to shut up and eat his 9 yards of s--t. It will be interesting to see how his fellow players treat him and how the announcers treat him. Golf is a world he can retreat to , so yes I think he can be as ...

I was sure him, Arnie and Player and Miller would come out with guns blazing..on how Tiger had brought the golden game into disrepute...like bring back the "Caucasian Only" clause LOL.. Clearly the TW meltdown has brought the old crowd out of the woodwork. Equipment drove activity through what could be described as the "golden age" of golf clubs. Now I'm saturated with gear and have less than half the time to play that I used to; I'm dying to play the stuff I already have. WRX is boring and most of the posts I read on there are pretty thin in terms of the quality of the content....

Yeah, but who did the cutting - Tiger or Elin? Given the events since Thanksgiving, which in themselves seem just so surreal and over the top as if the Woods are out to embarrass the writers of Dallas or Dynasty , I'm to a point where even trying to guess where this goes next is pointless. I don't need Tiger to watch golf. Looking forward to the Hawaii swing in January. It ...
