Since I like your Call sign. And I do think that your stang fits the role. Here are my thoughts. a CI Aluminum head or a Ausie 2-v head are a direct bolt on! Easy. But, no matter how well they can be made to flow, the X-flow can be made to flow better. This is comparing ported/polished heads. When comparing stock heads, I do not know as the year/head type are a factor. Glen can answer that. send him a pm. if you wish. Now, When you go all out,...

My grandfather has an OZ 2bbl setup in his garage he is waiting to put on his 66. I had planned on getting a V8 so I dropped any plans, but that is starting to change. I have just about 5 months left to finish this up. Started this back in August and I would like to "unveil" it at our clubs annual car show in May. From February-mid April I will be saving up on performance parts. Just have to figure out what parts to get. I...

That is not what I was saying at all! Maybe you missed my drift as well. I meant that this site here is the Sow's Ear Research Division for a major silk purse manufacturer. And yeah, I'll take one of those crossflows. Just as soon as I get the house finished and the car put back together - again. Okay, well maybe after the next time.

What would a rebuildable head and 2v manifold cost including shipping? I'm interested in the option, but always considered it out of my reach financially. Thanks, Ed

Published (2009-12-25 16:26:00)
So I have the fairlane torn down right now and was wondering if I coul djust do the fab work to install my turbo now and just run a LOW amount of boost (or even just leave the wastegate open) Not goign to drive it much other then a few trips around the block (less that 50 miles) like this. as I get everything else up and running....or can the stock motor handle a couple pounds of boost with just a FMU on it?

My cars are 37/38 years old, and there is any amount of spares available for them. I look at a BF turbo for example, and wonder...

Hi. I'd be interested in sharing your shipping expense in order for me to get an oz 2v 250 head and intake to the U.S. I have possible finds for a head and intake, but shipping just those items is quite expensive. Please let me know if I can participate.
