Hi....I've recently purchased an LG Incite phone which uses the USB port for charging. It charges either by USB wire when connected to a computer or by a power plug that plugs into the same USB connector on the phone. I'm wondering how safe & feasible it is to charge the phone via the USB connector to other USB charging devices...eg. iPod charger...which works on the same principal that the device is being charged via a USB...

In general, the current draw is limited to no more than 500ma through a USB by design limitation regardless of the device. Depending on the device in question, as long as you are below 500ma, you should be OK. (hence the reason for wanting to use a separate adapter). Another USB design criteria is the ability to shut down if/when 500ma is exceeded. Of course not sure of this validity for every cheap device in the market today? Either way with...

Hi All. I've got a kaput DS which is possibly fixable, but not sure. I know nothing about electronics apart from school level physics (and that was some time ago) - can use a soldering iron OK though! It was dropped and can no longer switch on (as if power switch is broken). I took it apart expecting to find a broken switch but instead a small component fell out - lucky I ...

Sorry, you make no sense whatever! A 120V computer case fan?? All the ones I've seen recently run from the 12V power supply. As for amperage - there's no such word. Are you referring to current?? Current is measured in Amps, short for Ampères.

I have just bought an idea, i don't have it yet but i have been reading up about it and i understand the radio problem is common, apparently there is a micro switch that controls the cd which sometimes mistakenly thinks a cd has been inserted thus waking up the radio and flattening the battery. apparently the quick fix is to leave a cd in the slot. Hope this helps.
