I don't know what the appeal is, but you can try a couple of things. There's a sour apple spray that isn't toxic but doesn't taste good to most dogs...though some like it enough to continue their chewing. You can also try distractions. Try using a toy or get him involved in a training exercise like obedience training. It's possible he's doing that cause his teeth are bothering him so a cold chew ...

Ah puppies, I sure miss having one, but I also remember how painful those puppy bites can be. This is hw they explore, using their mouths. You are on the right track saying ouch, and then I would remove myself from the area where he is. I also tried turning my back, and wound up with a puppy biting the backs of my ankles. If you are in his area, just say "too bad" or "you're done" or ...

My husky, Skye, went through something similar. I even sent her to boarding school cause I was afraid she'd hurt herself, and I didn't know what to do. That was an expensive option, but for me, I didn't know what else I could do. They took her in and worked with her. It turned out, just some simple obedience training was all she needed. Wow Luci, you send the best videos. You are right, Wheezer is very nevous, and does give off a lot of signals. Lip licking, tail tucked, yawning, I even saw her one paw lifted at one point. Is she afraid of the walk, or the situation--Frodo and Tika along on the walk? Your two are walking along with a lot of self confidence.
