Is US Airways a mid-sized carrier?
Published (2009-11-27 22:08:00)
It also depends on what part of the country you are in. Up here in Seattle, AS/QX is HUGE, and they are the major carrier for flights up and down the west coast (in terms of destinations and frequencies), but US isn't as big, especially north of San Francisco. My point is this, some parts of the country airlines are more major then others, but on the whole US dose seem to be mid-sized when look at it on a nation wide scale.

My guess it was possibly part of a display for MAKS 2009. At least judging by the date and location of this particular aircraft.

It has been quit a while ago, but I had the same experience at Amsterdam Schiphol. We were flying at 8 or 9 pm, but the flight was cancelled till the next morning. We slept also on some seats. It slept hard, and some people just slept on the floor.
