each 1/2 cup of the mix contains
330 calories
195 fat calories
22 grams protein
13 grams carbs
if you add 2 eggs, the protein rises to
35 grams, the fat calories rise to 275 and the total calories rise to 470. However, you may find that eating half a cup is too much and making or eating half a recipe is better. That would halve the total calories as well as everything ...

Must be the weather- everyone wants to bake bread! I too have Dana's book and went out and purchased all the foods I would need to make the oatmeal bread- get's kinda pricey hope the bread tastes good. I will probably try it this weekend, have to dig out my
bread machine.
I will be interested to see how everyone's bread turns out, sounds like we are all trying different ones.

I was diagnosed with Type II about 3 years ago. I was doing well with my diet and then got sick of feeling restricted. So for the past year I'd say I've been having a lot of trouble with binging on sugary foods. I wish I could make myself stop but I can't seem to. I eat A LOT of candy, cookies, cake, ice cream in
one sitting over a period of several days. I'm afraid of what this will do to...

Personally, I'm a fan of real food, not the liquid stuff. One of
the hard lessons with this disease is there is no quick fix and I know that Medifast, Optifast, or any flavors of the liquid diet would just not satisfy my need to munch on something.
