As a few of you know, i bought Kwacky's very poorly D600 2004 Red monster (with a few thousand bits in boxes).
The biggest issue with the bike was no life whatsoever from the electrics, no display from the speedo - nothing.

It also came with a spare loom which was the most likely candidate if
all else failed....

Riding on the back of Darren's post got me looking at GPS lap timers just out of interest, and I found a application that turns a GPS equipped mobile phone into a GPS lap timer, complete with downloadable track profiles for
race tracks all around the world, including my local. I have successfully downloaded the app onto my phone, but unsure of it's usefulness..

So I finally have a track day booked for
12th December.
My question to everyone is in regards to servicing.
My bike has just clicked over 18,000kms. Major service due at 20,000.
Between now and 12th December I will put close to 2000kms on the bike so should i get the Major service done before or after I do the track day.
