I'm not asking anyone to reveal numbers, but do you know how much you pay in federal income tax? I filed an extention back in April and I'm writing out a check now to the United States Treasury. It got me wondering if people actually know what they pay, or are you one of the fools who think "I got money back, so I didn't pay anything".

Well football is over and spring training starts next week. I am really excited about this upcoming season with the new addition to my team. This thread usually generates between 1000-2000 posts a year and there are plenty of baseball fans on these boards so I figured I would start the thread now with some predictions. Feel free to make your predictions as well and post anything baseball related....

Who was that professor that pronounced gold as being dead back in 2001, saying it was only useful in underdeveloped countries where the banking system is less developed? Seems like the same old line in this story. Of course it could be argued that Indians storing their wealth in gold jewelry are no less sophisticated than hip westerners putting all their faith in pretty pieces of paper that ...

Doesn't have to be your favorite song, just your favorite 1 or 2 music videos. Bjork - I Miss You, as illustrated by John K. of Ren and Stimpy infamy.

It's hard to believe, but the FA Community Shield is already behind us and the Arsenal-West Brom fixture kicks off the Premiership title chase on Saturday! Let me repeat here, if anyone would like to play the official Fantasy Premier League game this season, do not pass go, do not collect 200 quid - rush over and sign up your team (free) at the official website of the Barclays Premier League,...

not my list, but I found it funny, so I thought I would pass it on... Things Learned By Texans Who Endured Hurricane Ike. 1. Coffee and frozen pizzas can be made on a BBQ grill. 2. No matter how many times you flick the switch, lights don't work without electricity. 3. My car gets 23.21675 miles per gallon, EXACTLY (you can ask the people in line who helped me push it). 4. Kids can survive ...

In keeping with the time-honored traditions of the annual Water Cooler NFL Picks thread, the previous years winner is supposed to post the games for the first week of the next NFL season. Since I backed in to win last year (only because Darth was late getting his picks in one week), I get to start this thread. So, here we go: Thursday, September 4th Washington at NY Giants Sunday, September ...

He is a real man and when I watched this film he made all by himself. (I can't believe he actually filmed it alone with no help. It's really ...
