I have been submitting books to CGC since early 2002. I remember sending in my first 20 somthing books and thinking I cant wait to see how many 10.0s I was going to get. First group came back and grades were not what I was expecting. 8.0s, 8.5, 9.0, plenty of 9.2s and two or three 9.6s. (All modern books by the way) I start thinking WOW I thought these books were all NM and those two 9.6s were ...

The window bag thread brought up a question that's bugged me for awhile. Is there a good (and polite) way to get signers to place their signature in the best possible place? Are some creators more receptive than others? Who are the best and worst to get a signature from in a specific place? To be clear, I'm not blaming any witnesses for the placement, it's the signers. My personal votes ...

Just wondering what a window bag looks like. I've heard the term used by witnesses when they prep a comic to get signed. Does anyone have a picture of one with a comic inside of it? Does it have a label on it so it's easily identified (like show name/date, person who sent it in, etc.,)? -Brian
