Hey I just saw the pictures in zol.cn, anyone notices that it's 116CHE? So what is the difference between CHE and other variants of the 116 series. PS: Just curious, so maybe it's a damn silly question, men.

Hi, for a while now I have been experiencing a weird prob with my drive. To read a disc most of the time I have to put it in as usual close it..then I have to open it and close it to get it to actually read the disc. Very annoying. Burning discs is fine. Also updated to the latest firmware and it is doing the same.

Re: Pioneer 112 series vs 115 series vs 116 series Well both of my 112D's flashed to 112L FW 8.25 have worked flawless for me and I am very happy with them, although the first one I bought wouldn't read CD's so I sent it back to Pioneer not where I bought it and Pio had me a new on in a week __________________ Jim ( old desert rat ) Windows XP Home ...

Pioneer DVR-109 Dying? Recently I just hopped onto Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's from SuperMediaStore and with 8x DVD-R's burned @ 4x I get disc scans on TY Media like these... My TDK branded CMC DVD+R's come up with similar scans, just slightly worse but with quality level around 20-25 percent... Could it be that my DVR-109's laser diode is about to go out?

Hi, I've been backing up my 360 games and have been getting varying results with the quality of the burns. I'm using a Pioneer DVR-111L with the 8.29 firmware and Verbatim MKM001 burnt @ 4x with Imgburn (4x generally seems to produce the best results) On the first burn I got a quality score of 93 (Using Nero DiscSpeed). On the next it drops to 84 using media from the same batch. The...

Re: DVR-115D Dual Layer Problems Hello from a fellow UK member I have some of those same discs. While the burn process completes successfully on many of my drives, playback is another story. I would recommend you use Verbatim DVD+R DL instead for your backups. I have the 115D myself, and it's usually an excellent burner on even the most crappy media. But if the 115D won't...

Hi, my Pioneer 115BK is giving me some headaches.. I cannot play an original DVD copy protected.. not trying to burn or back up, just playback. Reading a dvd or a cd at start takes a lifetime. When I used Alcohol to backup an original CD game... took several hours. I had a Lite On in my old PC and worked like a charm eating and playing almost everything, same when backing up ...
