Hey every one most of us like to talk back and forth with each other about many things, BUT have no place to really do this except in the threads which means getting off topic. So how about using this threads as a Chat Room to keep other threads on topic and at the same time giving us a place to talk with each other on WHAT EVER !!

DVDFab Crashing with Alvin and the Chipmunks DVDFab Platinum v5.0.5.0 crashes when trying to copy the Alvin and the Chipmunks DVD. I went back to v5.0.3.0, and it copies fine.

DVD FAB not finalizing For a while only on occasion Fab would not finalize, had to use the Patin Couffin drive to close it, now since Ver. 5.04.5, it does it on almost every one, also my lite-on drive won't close it I have to use my Benq drive, any one else having this problem?

Re: Error mess 115 w/DVDFab 5.0.5.0... Check your settings in fab, make sure SAO not packet writing is selected.

dvd navigation disc I have a new car with a dvd rom disc that it uses for navigation. for some reason DVD fab Platinum does not recognize the disc. I wanted to make a back up incase of issues...any idea why it does not work?

Thank you Fengtao and Ting. New: Improved DirectShow preview. It's more stable and user can seek now It would be nice if you people would state OS and either 32 bit or 64 bit. What version ffdshow your using etc....

Re: Burning movie from hard drive to DVD using dvdfab 5 platinum I am having the same problems. Can only copy to C. when I want to copy to dvd, when I choose target D:\ , I get message there is no directory and/or message that disk is full. I assumed it had to do with the installation problem of "failing to initalize burn engine" message I get.

Hi, I'm not sure how "practicle" this is for you, but I've been on the "lookout" for quite a while now for an easy, "auto-magic" method of un-splitting (recombining) a previously split Movie. I have several "tools" that can do it, but you have to know a lot to do the "obvious" things, and, you have to "paw" around a lot which is very time consuming given how easy and "fast" a DVD9 Movie is Split...

That's really up to you! It's your disk and your choice.

I am getting myself totally confused I think... I have some DVD's I have ripped (mainmovie then using "vobmerge" rather than vob passthru) which play happilly in 5.1 sound....i have others which don'y play ANY audio.... Does anyone have something they know that works to allow the audio to stream in 5.1 to the ps3 from wmp? Sorry guys i am just done in trying to work this one out??

Compatibility with third-party post-processing software I know this issue has been discussed before, but when I searched I couldn't find anything in a clean, separate thread. Output from DVDfab Platinum version 4.0.6.2 works great as input to either DVD Shrink or DVD Rebuilder. Of course, since this is an older version, it cannot handle some newer DVDs. I...
