With out going into much detail if that's possible; I wonder if I should really be concerned about poor scans with the following listed media if the media is consistently playable on multiple machines. For example: I have three burners. One I have issues with and haven't had the time to figure it out. The other two like Verbatim very, very much. They're also crazy about Maxall print-to-the-hub ...

i just got my new TYG02 disc today. i was doing a couple burn test. PIE would have been good but the 99 spike at the beginning. i dont know about that PIF clump there around 4 Gig, PIF was around 300 until then. whats with the low jitter and how it drops there at the high PIF area? Damn Would have liked to know the quality of the second layer. Not too bothered if it verifies and reads back OK I have two Pioneers, the 112D and and older 109 so it's not possible. When you say transfer rate test Arachne, do you mean a benchmark test on Nero Speed or some separate software?

Just received my order today from shop 4 tech. I ordered 100 ct of Taiyo Yuden DVD+R 16X. So I open the box and see that there are two 50 ct cake boxes inside. Think nothing of it at first, figured they were out of 100 ct. Took the discs out of the box which were not labeled anywhere (no name printed on the packaging) and put one in my burner. Disc came up as CMC MAG M01. Called Shop 4 Tech ...

Here's my list Love rare media with obscure MIDs simple and stylish disc designs like Kodak or Maxell dark dye color like Organica 4x dye (not purple like RitekG05, more like Azo CD-Rs) smooth bonding (round edges) silver full face printable media (I love that 3D effect, especially on dark backgrounds) ...

I recommend the use of Verbatim or TY media when trouble-shooting an issue. There are times when that suggestion just isn't even required, and the person ends up having his or her Ritek, Sony, Daxon, CMC, MBIL, etc media burning beautifully. I am one of the people to support the use of alternate discs if they work for you as I MYSELF have not had any real issues with the previously mentioned ...

Hey folks, I'm running : - Vista Ultimate - Pentium 4 @ 3.20 Ghz - 4 GB Ram - Nero 8.3.6.0 Burner #1 - HP DVD Writer 640b ATA Device Burner #2 - SONY DVD RW DRU-820A ATA Device I've had nothing but coasters when it comes to burning DL.
