Spent today gutting the interior of the car...nowe that it's just an empty shell, we're going to undercoat the insides as well as the outside & I'll start laying some thermal barrier over the undercoating.

Mark, There's no doubt mine was a "mis-spent youth". I did think the nailhead would be an easy spot though with its strong "family" resemblance to a certain British V8 with a known ancestry to the colonies.

I only got 9 right. I have never owned a V8. Mostly American 6 cyl and 4 cyl.

I thought about going to that auction for the entertainment value, but not enough there of interest. Too many kit cars for me.

15 outta 17 is darn good, this a difficult test. Who in heck remembers what a "nailhead" engine looks like? I got 10 of 17 and lucked out on a couple. Can't fool me on Ford and Chevy small blocks tho', and the 348/409s with the W-shaped heads are instantly recognizable. Tough, but excellent test.

Here's the opposite: My '71 Karmann Ghia has a TN title...if I decide to put it on the road in AL, they take my TN title away & all I have is my AL registration.....no other proof it belongs to me! Here in AL if I'm registering an old car that was built before titles and the seller was an AL resident, they just give me a registration in my name. If the car is from out of state & was bought ...

Sounds excessive but maybe the car took some beatin's . I'm pretty sure Lambo just sells V10s and V12s, so that was probably just one head from the V12 model. (they do make some pretty nice 6 cylinder tractors, but I don't think they sell those in the USA).
