Steering Stabiliser

Fitted the adjustable SV the other day. Seems to be good. Car towed well - although also had the WDH fitted this time. Have it on about 6 now. Originally I had it on 9, but steering was too heavy so was concerned it would cause extra stress to the steering box and associated parts.

I agree with the above comments regarding crawl speed, offroading, etc being better with lower ratios, however I was responding to this post: Quote: Originally Posted by CRDSTU Have a look at your rpms in cruise control at 100-110kph. Don't forget that these are most likely designed for Left Hand Drives,
meaning the bit that is angled up at the side to light up the left side of
the road will instead be angled up at oncoming traffic - illegal I would
imagine.

Hey everyone. If anyone can help with this please advise ASAP.
I took my WJ into the local dealership last Friday armed with the Technical services bulletin to get the transmission reflashed to a 5-speed. I was pretty confident that they could carry it out no dramas after asking to speak directly with the workshop foreman and discussing it for a good 15min, as he said he has done quite a few...

Hi all,
Hopefully getting some BFG AT 265/75/R16 put on the WG on Wednesday. The CRD I drive has 3.53 ratio's I believe.
I would still like to use the car as a daily driver also....
Does anyone know what the best gear ratio's would be for this tire? (4.11 perhaps) ... also the best place to purchase them from?
Cheers
Chumby.

I'd rather buy from the manufacturer, does anybody really want to pay the
mark up value that ARB or TJM would slap on it ?????????

I don't know if these are any good, but I'm planning on getting one so I can play the thousands of songs I have on my phone through the car stereo. Not sure about bluetooth, but get a GPS as they nearly all have that, and you've got a GPS!

i can remember reading something about it ages ago on the US forums i think it was.
I think the only option was to buy an aftermarket unit to do it which may have been around $200 and something

PMac ... I was advised not to get the RTC and installed the Tough Dog 9Way....
No complaints at all... it is going well... much better than the Rancho that I had previously.

Hi and welcome, I'm new to Jeep's too so don't have any answers but I'm sure someone around here will, looks like there's plenty of knowledge going by all the threads I've been reading through in the forum.
Nice grand you have there too, mines a 97, sometimes the 96-98 versions are called ZG, apparently they're a little different to the earlier ones but not a whole lot, check out the " NAGCA " ...

Great news!
I should receive my Aussie Lokka from the states this week and have been worrying about the on road performance. I believe these 2 are very similar in design & function. Keep us posted on how it lasts. What sized rubber are you running?

you will be blown away. in australia its really hard to find to many/any garages that will even look at anything more then 20mm. the GC lifts cost alot of money to it properly as opposed to any other 4wd. happy hunting.
