If you read the FRCR degree, it says that you fulfill the criteria to apply for consultant job which is useless if you are not working in the uk. More over the doors are closed for all non-uk/eu graduates. I was surprised to see so many FRCR courses run in india, obviously some one is making lots of money of the gulliable like the plab courses.

hi i need an advice plz,i have done the plab before and has expired,and done MRCP1,and i have got only 3 years and my mrcp expired ,i am not sure what is it best for me to take the plab and work or finish my MRCP.

i will complete my B.D.S degree in 2010. after that i want to settle abroad as in Australia or newzeland. can anyone tell me what all exams i have to clear or what will be the procedure for that as i would like to prepare for that

Dentists have no future in UK . It is very difficult to find a job even after completion of a series of 4 to 5 tough and expensive exams . best thing is tell ur wife to do PG in India only . or she can do odd jobs in supermarkets in UK.that is possible.

hi everyone . I am new to this forum.
I appeared for PLAB2 in may 2005. came back to india after being jobless for 6 months.
I want registration with gmc uk and i contacted gmc where I was asked to resit the IELTS exam and that they will reassess my case and decide whether i should resit the PLAB or whether they can grant me registration.

Dear doctors,
One of my friends, who is also a doctor, is planning to sit for the PLAB exam as he wanted to work in UK.
The problem is that he is a [b]HBV carrier, HBs Ag (+) but HBe Ag (-)[/b], and he wanted to know if it would be possible for him to be employed in the UK if he apply for a job after he passed the PLAB.
I really couldn't give him a clear answer, so I hereby ask for ...
