Rat snake training? and other ?

If it doesn't calm down some it's not what I'm looking for anyway. I would love to be able to use it for my programs but if it is going to strike it won't work. Needs to be a bit tamer for the kiddies. I'm inclined to think that if she actually has been handling it every other day for two or three months and it is still musking and striking that it's not going to change. *sigh*

There's a lady that is looking to sell a 6' yellow rat. She says that the snake will strike at her when she goes to pick it up and once she picks it up it is intent on getting away. Now, she says that she has had it a few months and picks it up every other day but still has the problem. It is obviously an older snake (no idea how old)... do you think there is hope that it will calm down any ...
