The sitemap password is stored in adminCP -> vbOptions -> vbseo sitemap options.
you can change it right there.

Make sure your /data folder is
CHMOD 777
Also your correct sitemap URL is Code: http://www.yoursite.com/ vb /sitemap_index.xml.gz

sitemap index should be accesible via:
site.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz
I just looked and it is not there. Likely, it hasn't run yet.
Try deleting all xml.gz in the vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder (if there are any), make sure the folder is chmod 777, and then run the sitemap manually from the vbseo_sitemap control panel.

You can add your ad script to the "excluded files" list in vbseocp so vbseo won't process it, and thus, won't have a footer on it.

I would recommend turning OFF including old URL's at this point. I recommend only doing it for about a week or so until you start to see vbseo urls in the search index. At that point, its
time to turn off. Eventually, google will flag these as errors, as you will be submitting a 301 page, not the destination page.

Are they guest-viewable? The sitemap will NOT include ANYTHING that is
member-only (or higher) view.

What are the URLs?
You can also just disable
social groups from the sitemap options all together.
