vBulletin does not validate phone numbers. I am not sure there is even a modification for this. You may be able to ask for a paid modification over at vbulletin.org modification site or check for a pre-existing one. Good Luck!

Looks to me like more of a cookie problem. I registered - you can delete user: Testing. After the registration, you should be cookied, but don't seem to be. Also, it redirects (WWW to no WWW), so you may have some redirect rules interfering. This problem is due to some customizing. You may want to try creating a new style with no parent style and see if the problem persists. ...
