That means you have not uploaded all the Impex files and subdirectories to the 'impex' directory.

Will it be possible to import posts from a blog provider like Blogspot? I've done so previously with another blogging tool that could transfer everything over, but I don't know how difficult it would be to do into vB.

There is no avatar module, it's part of the user module, and requires the correct path.

Likely the database
timed out or the connection was lost, go to the help link and clear it all out and start again.

text file importer in Impex which is available in the Members Area.

There is nothing in impex to adjust for
timezone handling. Maybe the date is the timezone it was posted in and when read it is adjusted for the viewer in dotnet ?
