Well keep watching. There are some great moments of humour and wit as well as the intens violence and sex. Re-Watching on terrestrial I did think that the first two episodes were a little weak. As with a few HBO shows it's an investment. You'll be singing the praises when you get into the meat of the show.

remember- a voluntary exile from the Culture has to shoot down a starship to clear a debt owed as he is living in a non culture Civilisation. The people pressing the debt get him a culture handgun (natch only capable of being fired by a Culture native). A handgun taking out a starship

I love it. I love the way they use the actors to play themselves as younger versions of themselves and then say things like 'i'm your thirteen year old wife'. It's understated and it makes me laugh. There's loads to laugh at in the whole film, which is an 8 for my money.

Having seen a fair few posts about Michael Chabon, imagine my surprise when I saw Wonder Boys going for 79p in the local ymca
Bout 3/4 through it - yeh, very funny, well written, very self-aware, although more filler than killer in places (do I really need to know exactly what was in Sara's garden??), and laugh-out-loud in places

The first one which came to mind was accountancy ("These figures don't add up!"), but then I thought of someone working on an Excel spreadsheet when there 's a power cut in the office and the computer fails to save the file. Drama of a ...

It would seem the Adam and Joe show has been pulled from the iPlayer. There is no explanation or discussion of this on any BBC website at all. The only discussion I can find on the matter is on the Facebook groups where someone speculated it could have been due to the 'jew joke'
I wanted to listen again, but it's not there. And the total lack of information would lead me to believe a BBC ...

A heads up for those that watch it, being as the BBC has not bothered advertising the new series.

Wasn't allowed to watch much, but I remember an ongoing battle over Grange Hill. It was leading me into bad behaviour apparently
