Tim Burton's Art At MOMA
Published (2009-11-30 23:52:40)
I belong to a Live Journal community all about Tim Burton. Someone posted this really cool video interview that MOMA ( Museum of Modern Art ) in New York did with Tim. He has an exhibit of his drawings, paintings and such there until April of next year. I love this man's movies and I wish I lived in New York so that I could see some of the work they show in this video. I also like hearing Tim's thoughts and ideas on things. He's...

It certainly was. And partial proceeds from his albums still go to his Material World Foundation, which still helps people. Well, thanks, Anita. Your comment about a jam session reminded me of: I'll be singing that for days now.

^^ Good choice. I like George and it's hard to believe he's gone, let alone it was 8 years ago. Speaking of George, I read today about a memorial for him. A peace group called Alliance for Survival held their annual George Harrison Memorial Tribute at his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star.

George Harrison's classic CD "All Things Must Pass." God, how I miss George. He and John were my favorite Beatles, so it figures they were the first to go! Here is the live version of the song "Wah-Wah" from that CD, in the Concert for Bangladesh. Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan and a cast of many are on this. Classic rock for when I was growing up. Ah, the memories....I just wish the ...

I think Guillermo could definitely make a fantastic spicy sci-fi movie with KU in it. I'm mostly Latina myself, so I know what you mean Anita. Not a fan of Woody Allen though. I find his work a bit... strange. It's my personal opinion that is.

WOOHOOO! She IS awesome! I saw her in the park blocks a few weeks ago, not far from the big copper elk statue, across from the Multnomah County courthouse. She plays so beautifully, it actually brought tears to my eyes. The "acoustics" were also amazing, with sound bouncing off the trees and floating up into the air. She could be heard on that clear, sunny day from about two blocks away! Really ...
