I don't think the ratio matters aslong as its running at the speed you want, I certainly don't notice any differences.

sorry for a long update, but i saw sick for past few days. Fortunetly it wasnt anything serious. I feared that ram I bought came in broken, but yet again my lack of experience cost me some trouble What I did wrong? I was to gentle with RAM/mobo. I pushed ram into slots and then fliped "clamps", later i discovered that if you push it a little bit harder it will actually "click in" and clamps will secure ram...

You can install 4gb just fine, it just won't show up in Windows. Really,
everyone with a modern computer should be using a x64 o/s by now.

2GB dual channel will be better at the moment, but in short time i think
the games will need 3Gb Ram, so ¿why no 4GB dual channel?

Short version = you can't.
It has to do with the way the 32 bit OS addresses memory spaces.

I have an Athlon II x4 running with a reference clock of 300mhz. My ram is set to 1600mhz @ 7-6-6-18-1T. If you know what you're doing, you can get ram doing well.

Yeah, that sounds correct. You definitely won't fry anything because the ports were made to be plugged into. So no worries.
The Molex connector is most likely used for helping give power to the PCI-E slots. Especially when you use 2 graphics cards. Each PCI-E slot can give up to 75W so with two high powered graphics cards, the mobo would be giving 150W. The Molex connector is there so that ...

Thats an awesome choice on the MOBO, esp if you want M-ATX.
I got the same one and its Tops Just be aware, I got mine open box as well and it didnt come with a backplate, as a matter a fact it only came with the board only.
As for the ram, Find something that does 1600@ cl7 IMO.
GL in your search.

Do you really see AMD paying nVidia liscencing fees, for tech they basically already have? If you say yes, then maybe.
But to me, the answer to both is no. There is no reason for AMD to support SLi, as it's not an "open" tech. Just like Phys-X...
980a chipsets are out now, I think for AMD cpus, and SLi.
