I am kind of unhappy with UPS right now. I ordered on 11/30, they supposedly shipped it on 12/1 and now the projected delivery date is 12/7, and this is with UPS 3 Day Select. The $800 of parts that my dad ordered 2 hours later for my mom's computer were delivered today to my hometown about 150 miles south of my college residence.

That's a good setup. If you're not going to use the quad core you could go for the Athlon II x3 or the Athlon II x2... I wouldn't get the Phenom II x2. This is a pretty good power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139 005

LOL, who really wanna buy a GTX 295 nowadays. Its either a HD5k or wait for the Fermi. The 8800GT is only for the guys that are looking to SLi their old card, so they can indeed rant up the price on that shit. Because the thing about SLI is they need the exact same card. Either way, there is no way on earth that I will buy a 8800GT for $90.

You might be able to extend the life of, or even repair, the fan with just a couple drops of motor oil. Whenever I have a fan become noisy, I peel the sticker on the bottom of the fan off, drop some oil in until it nearly reaches the top of the empty space, then put on or tape the sticker back onto the base of the fan (be careful not to drip oil outside of the well). When the fan runs, the oil ...
