They are both in the US... The difference I guess would be the fact that some students who have taken classes with Zainab Academy have approached me and they are not sure if this new one is the same or not... since they have received emails about the classes as well... Its not tajassus... avoidance of confusion. Quote: Originally Posted by Colonel_Hardstone Sister, No need for anyone to get offended we are just discussing things. Why does it...

I also do not approve of people who disparage efforts like this. I believe efforts such as this should be in every masjid and be spreading the knowledge of deen such as fiqh, hadeeth, tafseer, etc. I myself have not been to Darul Uloom but I am highly thankful to our imam saheb who guided me to read a few books here and there due to which alhamduliAllah I at least know how ...

Amongst the manifold benefits of the Holy Qur'an is the beauty and resplendence found in its recitation. These two courses aim to explore the heights and depths of this beauty, through a comprehensive study of Tajwid and Qira'at, respectively.
The science of Tajwid is concerned with the particulars of recitation, as codified in the scholarly tradition. As an emphasized sunna, Tajwid ...

This is a really good opportunity for sisters who want to learn the deen from their own homes. What makes the course even more valuable is that the instructors will be focusing on purification of the nafs and various aspects of tasawwuf alongside. You don't find the combination of the two too often.
A rare opportunity. Don't miss it.
May Allah(SWT) reward all those behind the effort. Ameen
