QUOTE (sweetfantasy09 @ Dec 3 2009, 01:43 AM) oh my gosh! that happens in emergency room as well? Didn't the staffs do anything when he passed out? were they too short of staffs that they recklessly neglected him? oh dear.. if i were his fam member i would be terribly sad and angry. someone should have accompanied him it's local news for me, and the stations here have been showing the security camera videos....

North Koreans in shock as cash...

This seems like a move for Kim Jong Il to prevent others from being able to gather up political and economic power from seizing control after he dies. Bad for the people, smart for the Kim Dynasty (or whatever mysterious group is really ruling North Korea)

Um, my uni has a health & fitness course that is mandatory regardless of whether you're fat or skinny. The only thing I really disliked about the course is that we had to jog around the track in sweltering weather (I took the course in the summer time). It was so bad.. and my instructor was watching us from the sidelines, sipping on ice cold water and chilling under the cool shade. QUOTE She thinks all students, not just those...

I think it's good and bad. Good in the sense that they are promoting exercise (why argue with it? seriously...), but bad in the sense that it's targeted at "fat" people, so it does seem a little discriminatory. However, it's only 3 hours a week. Is that really something to complain about? ^^;

Those students were looking forward to their graduation day and are anticipating receiving their college degrees when they are targeted by a man who is dressed in women's attire who deliberately murdered them when that bomb blew up. May the ones who are killed rest in peace and the injured ones make a speedy recovery.

A car crash victim diagnosed as being in a coma for the past 23 years has been conscious the whole time. Rom Houben was paralysed but had no way of letting doctors know that he could hear every word they were saying. 'I screamed, but there was nothing to hear,' said Mr Houben, now 46, who doctors thought was in a persistent vegatative state. 'I dreamed myself away,' he added. ...

This is so sick, sick, sick. Some people are just so greedy and selfish that they are willing to go so far just to keep whatever power they have to themselves. I wish there was something I could do about this.

QUOTE (Malice_Kaiser @ Nov 17 2009, 10:49 PM) Scientology has proven to be a lot more dangerous than this article even lets on. People have died because of their practices and beliefs, from being locked in isolation and refused medical help and eventually dying because of it. Most notably is Lisa McPherson. I still can't get her autopsy photos out of my head. ><;; There's a bunch of...

"We, as educators, must tell students when we believe, in our heart of hearts, when certain factors, certain behaviors, attitudes, whatever, are going to hinder that student from achieving and maximizing their life goals," he said. Yeah, tell . The role of an educator is the educate and push people in the right direction, not forcing.

It's not the P.O.'s responsibility to babysit her kids. However, I think the police woman should have been more cautious and strict (I can't seem to find the right word) towards the boys. They were playing near the tracks, she ...
