Are We Going to Let John Die?

Is there a neurosurgeon who has hir own surgical facility where the doctors are making the decisions about who can and cannot get care? Because usually that sort of thing is handled by hospital administrators. And that is why the "we don't want to let anybody get between you and your doctors" argument by anti-health care reformers is a bogus argument.

Though the public too often thinks their chief duties are to find pillows and ferry soft drinks, the primary duty of the nation's more than 90,000 flight attendants is to ensure the safety, health and well-being of passengers. With up to 2 million people on roughly 25,000 domestic flights daily, an attendant somewhere in the skies over the USA is dealing with an incident each day. Many can be matters of life and death. And their responses...

I do notice when I've been playing a lot, my dreams often trend toward the "epic." The whole night will end up being a series of interrelated quest-type dreams. Like you, they aren't directly related to the game or its characters. It actually happened last night after playing Nostalgia on the DS for a few hours before I went to bed.

Not a dream as such, but after playing far too much Ocarina of Time I do recall driving through some of our more rural areas and spotting the similarities - not just me, Mrs L as well. That looks like... Yes I was thinking that too.

Diagnosis: lupus or spondylitis?
Published (2009-12-05 02:25:00)
After all that time waiting for appointments, the rheumatologist seems to feel I don't have psoriatic arthritis. He thinks I have spondylitis or lupus. We had been pretty sure something autoimmune was going on, so I'm pretty sure he's right. I've looked at the symptoms, and it seems like lupus is the more likely option. Does anyone know anything that can help? He told me not to worry, and I don't have an appointment...

Hmm, a quick search turned up nothing, but I do know that a liver can regenerate up to 75% of it's original size. I would hazard a guess that yes, you can be a liver donor twice, if sufficient time is given in between transplants.
I found this , which tells us that not much much of the liver is needed to be transplanted or to live.

Are you taking any sort of medication? My psychiatrist told me that paroxetine (Paxil) may be the cause of my vivid (and often bizarre) dreams/nightmares. Some are probably just caused by stress and unexpressed anger.
On the other hand, I've been playing video games since I was 3, and they do creep into my dreams, especially when I've been playing/thinking about them at night.

Compulsive hoarding accumulating so much stuff that one's living space is rendered unusable is coming out of the closet these days, thanks to books, movies and TV shows like A&E's "Hoarders." Mental-health experts view it as a form of obsessive-compulsive disorder. It's also seen in people with dementia, depression, attention-deficit disorder and brain injury, and after major life losses. I'm trying to understand how the Oregon priority list relates to the Kristof article. As Kristof presents the facts, the man was not denied the operation by Medicaid and it didn't seem to have anything to do with the operation's rank on the priority list, but rather to the reimbursement rate being lower than what doctors wish to accept. This is a huge problem, but I don't see how it's a problem ...

Woah - that's some pretty serious congestion. Is it possible that you have a sinus infection, that is masked by your treatments? You don't want to fool around with those. Infections that are forced high up into the sinuses can become very serious. Even if it's not an infection, it sounds like you have a great deal of inflammation, that's restricting your nasal passages and sinuses. If you still ...

I guess this type of nail beds are more of a do-it-yourself acupuncture.
