automatic update is ridiculous
Published (2009-12-03 19:39:00)
the auto update was created specifically to address updating with MODs installed. that is it's only purpose really. it does work in most cases, you may have to make some manual edits to the files but it is supposed to be better than having to reinstall all your MODs after each update. if you are having that kind of problems, then you are not doing something right. robert

I thought you were referring to the eight-inch floppies. I don't think there were any personal computers still using floppies in the mid-90's. They must have had a very old machine.

This # Get rid of the teachers who don't care about really teaching or helping the kids # Get rid of the teachers unions, all they are doing is draining money and protecting teachers who shouldn't be teaching in the first place. x infinity I have had meetings with teachers for my kids where the teacher absolutely refuses to stay past their precious 2:15pm for after school help and stated so to my face. Anyone want to guess if I did...

It was the most boring part of my day, it what made every waking hour of the weekend a treasured moment, it is what made me have an automatic disliking to anything taught in school. I never did homework, got As and Bs on my tests, and ended up with C averages, but the difference was, instead of doing homework, (In my high school years) I was at home learning a new skill, programing....

The War On Kids

I went to a rural but very large high school, and it was there that I learned one of my most valuable life lessons. I learned that there is a "system," and that system often stands in the way of what you want. One way of being successful in life is to figure out how the system works and work it to your advantage. I didn't care much for school either, but I worked hard, did every homework assignment, never missed a day of...

I would think it is most probably a fork. I am pretty sure the theme images have never shown up in the ACP, only the imageset ones.

Oh goodness no! lol, it used the 5(ish) inch floppies But you're right, everything does seem to look a lot bigger when you're that young If I had to guess, I'd say it was from the late 80's.

phpBB3 should handle that load without lifting a finger. 70 MB is a small database If they can't tell you more about why they are suspending you, I would find a different host

They really don't get into suggesting how to change school to make things better, it's more for just showing what's going on and how it's affecting us. Personally, I think the entire public school system needs a reform top to bottom. Less insanity with the zero-tolerance crap. If you watch the movie, it brings up some horrible examples, like at one school a kindergartner was kicked out of ...

I'm still using the image CAPTCHA, although the internal university network is exempt which deals with most of our registrations. Looks like you need a harder question: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=Jo ... it+take%3F

Windows 95 - I didn't really understand what made a good computer at the time, I was just amazed at how something like that could work. Windows XP - Yes, it's a big gap from Windows 95. I really hated it. Ubuntu(All versions) - Good when it's used on the right hardware but it has bad compatibility with a lot of hardware. OSX 10.5 Leopard - Very good but it had flaws. nope. DW will corrupt the dynamic pages ( php ) unless you REALLY know what you are doing. the best thing to do is to use a good text editor like notepad++ or editpad lite etc. it is just text but it has to remain pure text. DW and other web site builders like it, tend to add bits of invisible code to the files that will break. luck, robert
