I have followed this guide to try and access my bridged modems web interface within my LAN: http://wiki.m0n0.ch/wikka.php?wakka=AccessingModem OutsideFirewall Some of the NAT settings are different in pfsense, ie. the NAT 'TARGET' IP and some other bits. My bridged modem has IP 10.10.10.1 (this can be accessed ok if i directly connect a PC to it) My LAN is on 192.168.1.0/24 What ...

What happened to ntop? In release 1.2, it no longer is listed as an available package. In installations where it was installed prior to ntop disappearing, the current version is listed as 'unknown'. I have seen other posts asking the same question but no one is answering. Any relevant feeback would be appreciated. Thanks, jm

Hi folks I do have a 1.2-RELEASE on a Soekris NET-4801, which was working fine while using over LAN, but now I'm using it over WAN and it is too slow to use, it takes ages to load pages. If needed, I can submit a obfuscated config file... Getting slowly insane I issued a "pfctl -F rules", which essentially clears all firewall rules, but keeps the NAT, so I can access the box from ...

Hi, I have a setup that differes quite a bit form the norm (apparently): We have 3 subnets: 192.168.140.0/24, 192.168.210.0/24 and 192.168.190.0/24. The .140 subnet is our normal office network, with it's own firewall and normal access to the internet. The .210 subnet is our production network and uses jumboframes (mtu 9000) thruout. One layer3 switch and several smaller layer2 ...

I've setup a 6-zone PFSENSE firewall for the local library (see text diagram below). The WebGUI is setup as HTTPS on TCP8445. LAN (the public network) can access the WebGUI at https://192.168.1.254:8445 LAN2 (the staff network) can NOT access the WebGUI at https://192.168.10.254:8445 What rules do I need to add so that: LAN can NOT access the WebGUI and LAN2 CAN access the ...

I have just noticed that the grey line on my rrd graphs keeps on increasing each week quite significantly, is this normal? I have bandwidthd and phpsysinfo running. Heres a screenshot of what I am looking at. As you can see cpu usage remains the same, and there are no problems with the speed of the box. Its just worrying as "ultilization, number" doesn't give me that much of an idea ...

I've got a site to site OpenVPN link between my two offices. Site A (Server) can ping any PC in site B (Client). On site B, I can ping any machine on site A with one exception. From one specific computer on site B, I can ping NOTHING on site A. Not even the router. Every ping times out. Which is really weird since I can ping the machine from A. Site A subnet: 192.168.0.0 Site ...
